Under 16s Travel Sponsorship

For the third successive season, the Bluebirds Trust are delighted to receive financial support from Unite the Union 0401 Branch to provide subsidised travel for Under 16s.

Trust Chair, Chris Taylor welcomed the continuing sponsorship saying “We are very grateful for Unite agreeing to continue to subsidise away travel for the Under 16s. In the last calendar year, over 250 youngsters have been able to travel with us at a vastly reduced rate, helping families enjoy days out supporting their favourite team on the road and creating new memories. We know that many of the younger fans who have used the scheme in the past have continued to travel as adults so the scheme really does help in embedding new generations of fans get into the habit of watching Barrow AFC home and away, and the sponsorship from Unite is really important. We look forward to welcoming many more Under 16s and their families on board for the remainder of this season and hope the sponsorship with Unite continues for years to come”.
