We’ve always paid our respects as a fanbase when it comes to Remembrance and we are determined that this year will be no exception.
Tuesday November 10th is the closest date and we will of course be observing the minutes silence at the match against Accrington.
Both Supporters’ Trusts will be providing wreaths for our captains to lay prior to the match.
We will also be giving any revenue from that Tuesday’s online raffle to our respective Royal British Legions.
So whether it’s Russ’ Raffle or Big Steve’s Halftime Draw, profits will be going towards the Poppy Appeal for 2020.
In addition to that, instead of holding our usual Trust Members’ Draw to represent us as owners, we would like fans to nominate either serving forces members or ex-service personnel to take the two places by e-mailing info@bluebirdstrust.co.uk
We will then draw names at random on the evening of Saturday 7th November prior to the game on Tuesday 10th.
