As a result of the almost unanimous positive feedback in the survey, we will be increasing the membership fee from 1st July and the new membership year to £15 for adults and £5 for Under 16s.
While any increase is unwelcome, we have to balance the need to meet our financial obligations to the other owners of the club against the limited range of income streams we have available to us. This is the first increase in prices in 11 years and we have delayed it as long as we could.
EVERYONE will need to renew manually this year. Those who had previously set up renewing subscriptions will also have to renew manually as we are not allowed to increase the price for a current subscription. Therefore, all previous subscriptions at the old prices will shortly be cancelled. [N.B. CANCELLATIONS WERE MADE ON SATURDAY 7TH JUNE]
We do not intend to increase the membership fee again for the medium/long term, so new renewing subscription options will be available for those who require them.
Memberships for the new membership year will be available to buy from 1st July and we will be in touch again before then with more information. |
