As previously advised to eligible members, nominations are requested for members to stand for election to the Trust’s Board of Directors, including the post of Trust Director on the Club Board. The process is quite simple and explained on our website. In brief, those persons wishing to stand for nomination for the election must observe the following rules:
Any person wishing to be a candidate for election to the Society Board must be a fully paid-up member of the Society and be nominated by at least one fully paid-up member of the Society.
A signed letter of nomination from a member, or email from the address a member has given the Secretary are acceptable substitutes for a signature on the candidate’s nomination form.
The deadline for nominations is midnight on Monday 19th October 2020. Once a candidate’s nomination has been confirmed as in order, he or she will be invited to submit a short statement in support of his or her candidature.
The Trust aims to be a welcoming and inclusive group. We encourage supporters of all ages, gender and backgrounds to put themselves forwards for election so that the members have the opportunity to elect a Board which represents all our supporters as effectively as possible.
