He's back on the road....on a Moonlit Mission to Maidstone In August 2016, our Bluebirds Trust colleague Steve Herbert hitched to Torquay to raise funds for the Bluebirds Trust ticket appeal, which enables 100s of schoolchildren and their parents to attend Barrow AFC games for free. Once again he is hitting the road, hitching over 300 miles through the night, this time to Kent in time for the Bluebirds match away at Maidstone United on Saturday 17th February. You can donate at Barrow AFC Main Reception, the Bluebirds Trust shop on a matchday or email firstname.lastname@example.org for collections in the local area.
As a follow up to the free tickets offered to local school children for the Macclesfield match, following the open training session last week, the Bluebirds Trust Ticket Scheme paid for over 200 others to attend the match. Tickets were offered to local schools to encourage parents who may not otherwise have been able to attend with their youngsters who had the free tickets from the club, along with other children from the schools involved. The tickets were purchased using the funds raised from the Trust 5 a side tournament and through donations from members. We received a thank you letter from Ollie (see below) Donations are always welcome for this scheme. If you would like to make a donation please get in touch.Thank You Letter thankyouletter

Members of the Trust Board are meeting with Andrew Casson on Saturday. This meeting has been arranged for a while to discuss various logistical things around working together on some projects. However in light of the current atmosphere around the club we will endeavour to ask some of your questions if you wish. There is a Club Q&A on Friday evening so anything that is covered in that we will not repeat at our meeting unless necessary so that we can cover as much as possible. Prior to the Q&A is our AGM which is open to all members and starts at 7pm in a corporate room on the Crossbar and will be finished in time for the Q&A. Questions can be sent to us at email@example.com
